How many of you are planning on attending any F1 races? I am going to go to Monza but initially it was supposed to be part one of a two fer. Monza/Spa being back to back and all. However, as you all know by now Spa has been kicked to the cub by who knows who - so I am screwed.
I have been to Monza before but was REALLY looking forward to Spa.

Indy if it is run this year and if Michelin will give me a money-back guarantee. According to Atlas the fate of the Indy F1 future is not decided and will not be so until AFTER te race. It seems that F1 in the US IS important to Bernie but whetehr it remans at indy will be another story. Bernie, in the article, mentions that he would like a street race and in particular in Vegas. I'm feeling sick already.

I'd like to see 2 US GPs. Would be a shame to leave Indy. So much history. + a great track and venue to see F1. Michelin just F'd up.
Yeah - add vegas - Why not. San Francisco was in the running but eventually that wouldnt have flown. Hey you cant even fly a helicopter over the city. Not even to hospitals. (serious)
And that is all pre 911 rules too.
But back to topic. I hope scott speed just does really well and another GP is added. Germany and Italy dont need 2.

I think Indy is a pure crap track EXCEPT for the blast out of the final corner down the straight/banked bit and turn 1. The rest is in the running for the most Mickey Mouse sections in F1. I prefer the old school tracks like Imola, Monza, Spa.
If bernie wants to do F1 right he needs to come to Sears Point (although I do not think it is long enough) or either Road America or Road Atlanta. The Glen would be cool as well.
A return to one on the East Coast and one on the West would be cool. Even travelling to Indy for us on the West coast is like somebody in Britain going to Bahrain!

thanks - Glad you like it. Now if we can only keep MCSF from turning every thread into a Minardi discussion we might be onto something. Hopefully one day we can have the FormulaOneTalk Motorhome and cruise Europe. Yeah right... No, Glad to have you here. Your opnions and insight will be enjoyed by the F1 world.

Good - busy with the little one (43 " tall and 43#'s!) but work is stable and life is pretty good.
yes, I will be at Seca on both Friday and Sunday. Slight possibility of all weekend but that depends on home stuff. I am trying to arrange a meet of our Club and the 5 former Minardi drivers at various times - most likely on Friday.
Is your contact info still the same? If not email me at minardiusa "at" mmac.com so we can meet at the track and talk shop.
