Vettel will be the perfect Schumi successor for german fans. (along with Rosberg of course)
What a performance. Say friday stuff all you want. To top the sheets on both sessions clearing the field by half a second and not even being a rookie. Pre-rookie. WOW.
Another stunning performance was Montagnys 10 when race drivers were 26 27. To take this car to 10th on any day is remerkable individual performance.
I think it is a HUGE loss for France to not have seat for Montagny. I would like to see him along side Kovalainen in the Renault. Sorry Giancarlo. We have been waiting 10 years for you to really show up.

Don't you think Nelson Piquet Jr is going to be a better fit with Renault? I see him in the drivers seat by 08.

Yeah Piguet is a great talent. He was not in a top team (his own) in the GP2 and have been kicking ass for 2 seasons. He is a bit temperamental like a true S. American but that is a lethal combo in a fast car.
I see that he could well place Fisi for 08 or even in mid 07 if Fisi have a hard time keeping up with rookie Kovalainen. He is the real deal - even though Montagny kicked his ass in Kovalainens rookie season in Nissan World Series as team mates.
MONTAGNY DOMINATED THAT SERIES which along with F3000 was a predecessor to GP2.
If Montagny never gets a good ride I will be dissappointed...just like I was about Verstappen who never really got a good chance despite being briefly at Benetton. He was fast but things - alot of things just happened to him. I miss Jos.
But Vettel is my new favorite young candidate along with Marco Andretti.
