I represent F1Weekly - The premiere Formula One Podcast. If you guys don't know what a podcast is the quick answer is:
Podcasting, derived from Apple's "iPod" and "broadcasting", is a method of publishing files to the Internet, allowing users to subscribe to a feed and receive new files automatically by subscription, usually at no cost. It first became popular in late 2004, used largely for audio files.
We produce audio files in MP3 format for all to enjoy. We are currently one of the top F1 podcast on the net.
We are glad to be part of this forum.

Thanks for the welcome. Can't wait for this weekend at Monza, and the possible announcement of Michael retiring or not.

what is your guess.
Part of me thinks he should retire. Other part of me thinks he should continue Fangio-like until he is 45 and move straight into the F1 Masters series which I hope will be well established and red hot by then.
If I'd have to put everything I have on the bet I'd go for him - NOT retiring. either way I will be happy and forever respect his career and achievements.

I believe he is done after this year. I would like to see him go out a champion, that is why he has waited so long to announce anything. He wants to make sure he has a shot to win the whole thing. The problem is that Ferrari sees this as their only chance to get Kimi under contract, because if they don't sign him he will stay with McLaren and have the 2 best drivers next year.

Hey - btw. I love your domain name www.f1weekly.com - what a score. It sounds like a major industry leading publication. McLaren will do great with Hamilton and Alonso. Hamilton is just an amazing talent and his style will fit F1 like a glove. That will be a powerful combo. McLarens weakest link is and has always been their idiotic strategies. They are just dumb when it comes to race strategies. Ok maybe they havent had the smartest drivers either. (mika and kimi arent the most educated people you'd meet)

Thanks we are trying to become not just the leading podcast, but have our own news source. We have a forum we just started over there, you should check it out. We are giving away a brand new RC McLaren 1/12th scale car. All you have to do is post in the indicated section to enter.

I am not clear about one thing. Is f1weekly yours? You said you represent f1weekly and we do this and we do that. Is it yours - are you a partner or... in any event - very impressive. How many subscribers do have.

Sorry, about the confusion. Yes I am a partner in the ownership group of F1Weekly. My name is David, but sometimes another individual might log in using this login. Subscribers range depending on the type of show we have. Our Quali recaps are the lowest, and our race recaps are the highest. We had over 16,000 downloads last month.
